After I graduated, I was drafted and sent to Viet Nam for my real education. I was a crew chief on a UH-1. (That's a helicopter, for those of you who don't fly.) Back in the States I became a barber/hairstylist/b.s.'er and am real good at all three, if I may say so! My shop is in Mansfield, La. In 1979 I married Kathy Littlejohn, WHS class of '68 (though she now tries to tell people it was class of '78!) We have 3 wonderful kids, Tammie, Kenneth, and Kasey. Enjoy fishing, LSU football games, traveling in our motor home, restoring old cars, and eating La. seafood and Maine lobster. I was a reserve deputy for Desoto Sheriff's Dept. for 18 years, but gave it up because I wanted more personal time. We live in an 1880's house that we restored, outside of Grand Cane. My wife is assistant principal at Youree Drive Middle School in Shreveport. I'm on our reunion committee, and can't wait to see everybody who will be able to come! God bless everyone!

I married D. W. in January before I graduated. We are still married and have
one daughter, Cheryl, who is 32. She and her husband and son (our one
and only grandchild) live on part of our 50 acres here south of Waskom. I went
to work for AT&T (formerly Western Electric) right out of school and as
soon as I was able to retire with 30yrs....I did. My husband has worked
for SWEPCO for the past 34 yrs. We are mainly involved with church,
grandson's sports and family in general. We are home bodies!! Have
really enjoyed reading about all of you. This is a great idea.

After
school I went into the Navy and spent a year in Viet Nam and LIVED!!! I
married Billie Barcomb who was a 1969 Woodlawn Grad. in 1970.
My wife and I have 2 children, Melody who is 29 and lives in Dallas and a son
Trey who is 27 and lives in Lawton Oklahoma where he receive a congressional
appointment to train national guard troops. I have been in the
advertising business for 10 years and now I am with Clear Channel Radio who
owns 6 radio stations in the local Shreveport market.

Vickie has a son. Together we have six grandkids who are the light of our
lives. I never thought being a Grandpa could be so much fun. I have worked for the same company for twenty three years and in 1993

Married to Faye Tidwell for 20 years with two daughters Angelia 21years old
and Traci 26 years old. Re-Married 10 years ago to Andrea S. Jennings. I am
now a proud grandparent of Carson Crossno by my oldest daughter Traci. Carson
is 14 months old. After graduation I worked for Western Electric, AT&T,
Lucent Technologies and recently retired after 33 years service with Avaya
Communications as a
Business Process Manager. I am currently learning to fly fish, and be good
retiree on a daily basis.I still visit my parent on a regular basis who still
reside in Shreveport. I hope to attend the next reunion.

I only attended Woodlawn my Senior year (previous FPHS) so most of you
probably don't even remember me but I remember a lot of you. Those who do
remember me will remember I was married to Sonny Hood (WHS 65) and had a new
baby girl (Lisa) when I started my senior year. One day Mrs. King my Home
& Family Living teacher had me bring my baby, Lisa, to school, as part of
a class project on raising children. Good old Mrs. King that was my favorite
class. After graduation I worked in Customer Service for the S'port Times and
Cablevision S'port during which time I had my second child, Wendi. I also
worked several years at Kilpatrick Ins. before taking Medical Retirement about
10 years ago. Sonny died of cancer in Oct. 1992 after 27 1/2 years of
marriage. In 1995 I met another wonderful man (Ernie Harris) and remarried. We
just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. My daughter Lisa is now 36, lives
in Bossier City and drives a school bus for Parkway High and has one daughter
Jackie a!
ge 14. Wendi is 27 lives in Irving, Tx., is a CSR in Loans and Finance has 2
sons Joey 4 and Kristopher 2 months, and a daughter Jamie age 6. I play piano
at our church and sing gospel music with Lisa. I love spoiling the grandkids,
crossword puzzles and traveling which my husband enjoys also. I really think
this website is great. It was so much fun finding out what my classmates have
been up to the last 35 years. (time flies) I am not sure I will make the
reunion but I will sure try. E-mail me anytime. Jo Ann
