I went to Northwestern for 1 year and then went to
work for South Central Bell. I worked all over the state and in October of
1996, I transferred to Charlotte, North Carolina as an electronic technician
with Bellsouth. I was finally able to return to Shreveport in April of 1999,
my mom was sick and needed me. But, I decided in December of 1999 that I had
had enough and retired with 31yrs 7mos and 9days service. So, now I take care
of my niece's two girls, 4yr old Kayli and 5mo old Roomie...I'm too old for all
of this! Plus, they are red-headed little munchkins. I love spoiling them and
they love for me to take them to Wal-mart, our favorite store.
I LOVE RETIREMENT!!!!!!

Two of my boys are married and we now have 1 grandson and 3 step-grandchildren. We have been in England, Florida, Texas, Alaska and settled in South Carolina (husband retired Air Force). I have been a legal secretary and now work as an office assistant. We are active in our local church.

After school, I went in the army and got out in 1970. Kathie and I were
married in 1969. Not only is she my wife of almost 32yrs but she most likely saved my life. I was going to go back to the 101st for another tour, but I
fell in love and she made me stop and think, so we got married and I am still
alive today thanks to her. We have three girls from 30 yrs to 21 yrs old and
two grandsons, two granddaughters from 12yrs to 10 mo. old. We have lived
in the same house for about 30 yrs. As you can tell, we live a low-key life
and love it. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

years, have worked for Shell Oil since 1978. 2 children - son-born 1973 &
daughter-1982. Divorced 1993. Got MS in Library Science in 1996 - for my next
career!

I have been employed at Schumpert Medical Center for the last 24 years as a
medical transcriptionist.. I married to former Woodlawn Knight, David Phillips.
We are members of Summer Grove Baptist Church. I am a member of the
“Country Diamonds” competition line dance team. Won two gold medals for
the regional and one bronze for the state competition. Going for the gold
again in October at state. We have entertained at nursing homes, retirement
communities, festivals, Carnival cruise ship, parties, public schools, Isle of
Capri Casino and Casino Magic. When not vacationing with our grandchildren, we
take trips across the USA on our motorcycles and camping along the way,
as we are members of the “Free Spirits Motorcycle Club” out of
Barksdale. I have one daughter and One grandchild. David has two daughters
and two grandchildren.

After graduation I went to Business College, then went to work. I got married
in 1968 to James (Jimmie) Ray Musser who was a 1965 Woodlawn HS graduate. We
got married after he got out of the Navy and serving 3 years in Viet Nam.
We had 3 children, Brad, Laurie, Kaylene. We have 7 grandchildren, 4- boys and
3- girls, who are the light of my life. Jimmie passed away 5-years ago. God
gave us 29 wonderful years together and so many wonderful memories. I work for
Graduate Sales-Balfour. I am their Office Manager and I have been there for 13
1/2 years. I love my job and work for some wonderful people. I live in
Stonewall, La., in the country. I will be at the reunion and hope to see a lot
