I live about 25mi north west of Lafayette. Still working in what's left of the
"Oil Field". Married 31 years,3 grown children,6 grandchildren, one
of whom lives with us. Definitely toooo old to be raising a 2 1/2 year old but
he's a pretty neat kid. Spend as much time as I can on my Harley. Looking
forward to the reunion, couldn't make the last one.

Do I feel old. Debra and I are still dating after 35 years. We have 2 boys, 12
and 17. Yes, I know, all of you have grandchildren. It took us 18 years to get
it right. What can I say. We have lived in Virginia for 25 years. I teach
Interior Design at a large University and do consulting work and Debra
(Debbie) is the Director of PR for our County School Division. We are both
excited about the 35th reunion. If we are able to attend, I am sure we will
not recognize anyone. Of course we have not changed. Ha! Hope we will be able
to attend.

After graduation I went to LSUS for awhile (what a hard time that was).
Went to work for Western Electric for a few months , went back to LSUS, joined
the Army Reserves and went to work for South Central Bell. Still there after
28 years and am now a Loop Capacity Manager.
Married in 1970, divorced in 1987. Have a daughter soon to be 30 years old
(can not believe that). Remarried in 1991 to a Southwood graduate Cindy Debusk.
The best thing that ever happened to me. We've enjoyed almost 10 years of
marriage and have raised her son together (I really consider him mine, but she
still claims him.) We've spent countless hours on the soccer and baseball
fields over the years, but he will graduate from Southwood May 18th and I
don't know what I'll do with my time. Hope to see all of you at the reunion.

I've been living in Eunice, LA for the past 25 years. I am
married to Ellis J. Daigle, have two grown children (Tanya and Todd), and have
two wonderful grandchildren who call me "Momma Dee".
Photography has always been a passion of mine, and about seven (7)
years ago I started my own photography studio in Lafayette. It's been
challenging and I really love it.
Hope to make it to the 35th reunion, and can't wait to reconnect with
"old friends". I've lost touch over the years, but hope to
make up for lost time.

Thirty-five years? Married twice; twice divorced. Three sons and eight grandchildren all of which are in Iowa.. I met a man three years ago that convinced me to stop working and go on the road with him while he worked (go figure? where can you find a guy like that?) So last year we traveled from coast to coast and border to border. My special fella, Beau, and I have come back to LA. to settle in for a while. We decided to live a leisurely life on Lake Bistineau and just watch the world go on by. We may not be sittin' on the dock of the bay, but the lake will do just fine. Who knows what next year will bring; life is only dull if you let it be. When I divorced my second husband, I made up my mind not to be bored and since I met Beau, life certainly has not been. I may be 52 on my birth certificate, but I think my mind forgot to check that little piece of paper. Anyway, life has been varied for me and I can't regret my choices in professions or the special people that have made my life so colorful. Now I can hardly wait to see so many of you, some I have not seen in 35 years, others only 5. Either way, the next reunion will be a blast from the past to keep us going on into the future.

Carl and I relocated to Ohio almost 7 yrs. ago and, much to our surprise, we
love it! We ride motorcycles (Harleys, of course), and we enjoy the most
spectacular scenery everywhere we go. Louisiana is still home, but Ohio is not
a bad second. We have 4 beautiful grandchildren, and another on the way. I am
writing for a local magazine, and have had several pieces published in the
Cleveland Plain Dealer, as well as the Tribune-Review in PA. Life is very
good!

Comments: In 1973 married Pam Plante and we have three children. In 1975 the Lord Jesus became Lord of my Life. I still am at my dad's hardware store in Shreveport. Pam and I started a home base business in 1997 with nutritional products and that has grown so that I will be leaving the hardware store by June of 2001. I purchased a Goldwing Motorcycle several years ago and have been all over the US on trips. Looking forward in seeing all my (old) classmates again.

I've been married for 31 years and a mother for 29. We should have an empty nest by the time of the reunion. That will be a big change! I am now a substitute teacher and I love it. Quite a change from accounting, but a lot less stressful. For now I'm holding my own in my fight with breast cancer over the last 15 years. Hope to see everyone at the reunion.

After graduation, I attended NSU and rec'd BA in Sociology & Speech.
LSU for the MSW was next in line. Married a great guy from New Orleans,
Ramon, along the way. After graduating from LSU, Ray and I returned to
Shreveport for a couple of years. Joined faculty at NSU in 1974.
Today, it is my pleasure to continue serving the university and students as
chair of the Department of Social Work. My family and I have been so
blessed along the way. We have had many opportunities for personal
growth and to be seasoned and matured by the knocks of life. What a ride
it has been!! I have three children--much to my suprise! Eric is
24 and in Shreveport. Adam is 20 and at LSU, and my daughter Kathryn, 17
is completing her junior year at NCHS. Together we have grown and
developed. I only wish I knew at 17 what I have learned by 51!
I look forward to seeing you all. Hope to hear from you soon
